How do I book a session?

Start by reaching out through my contact form. I’ll respond personally to walk you through the next steps, chat about what you’re envisioning, and schedule a time that works best for both of us.

What’s included in a session?

Each session includes a 45 to 60 minute shoot, 30 or more edited high-resolution images, location planning, and access to a private online gallery with full download and print rights. You’ll also get gentle posing guidance to help you feel comfortable and connected throughout.

Where do you shoot?

Most of my sessions take place outdoors using natural light. Think beaches, parks, wooded trails, open fields, and cozy corners around the Bay Area. I’ll help you choose a location that fits your vision and feels true to you and your pets.

Can my family be in the Celebration of Life photos too?

Absolutely. These sessions are about honoring the love and connection your pet has shared with everyone who mattered. Family members, partners, and kids are always welcome.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you feel like yourself. Neutrals and earth tones photograph beautifully and won’t distract from the emotion in the images. I’m always happy to help you style your look if you’re unsure.

I don’t know how to pose. Is that okay?

More than okay. Most of my clients say the same thing. I’ll guide you through gentle prompts so you can focus on being present instead of performing for the camera. It’s never about perfect posing. It’s about real connection.

Do you travel?

Yes. I’m based in the East 

Bay and travel up to 25 miles at no extra cost. If your session is farther, just let me know and I’ll send a custom quote based on location.

Do you photograph more than just pets?

Absolutely. I offer lifestyle photography for families, maternity, engagements, gender reveals, and more. Any moment you want to hold onto. Pets are always welcome to be part of those sessions too.

How long until I receive my gallery?

You’ll receive your full gallery within two to three weeks after your session. I’ll send everything through a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints at your own pace.

What if I’m booking a Celebration of Life session but cost is a concern?

I offer Celebration of Life sessions at a discounted rate because I know this time is already emotionally and financially overwhelming. If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I offer a compassionate sliding scale option to help make this experience as accessible as possible.

How long have you been a photographer?

I started professionally shooting with pet based companies about seven years ago, but photography was a passion long before that. I spent years shooting as a hobby, learning how to capture connection, emotion, and the little details that matter. Over time, that love turned into a career rooted in storytelling and honest moments, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What equipment do you shoot with?

I shoot with my Nikon Z6III and D7500, along with a mix of prime and zoom lenses depending on the session. I always bring backup gear and memory cards so nothing important is ever left to chance. I shoot in natural light and keep things simple and distraction free so we can focus on what really matters; you and your story.
